Observatory

Through the Europass Foundation Network, we connect with over 25,000 teachers from across Europe every year. We share our expertise and commitment to innovation, and in return we receive insights from their experience, dedication and professional knowledge.

We have chosen to make the most of it. Through the Observatory, we aim to build an ever-evolving picture of the challenges, needs and best practices of the European educational community.

This allows us to refine our understanding of the needs of both teachers and students, and to design courses that offer useful and effective tools.

The Wellbeing & Professional Satisfaction Survey is a long-term study aimed at building a European-wide picture of the professional conditions and general wellbeing of teachers across Europe. It also serves to develop a comparative perspective that will inform our advocacy efforts for greater public recognition of the teaching profession.

Our short-term surveys explore some of the most current and complex challenges facing schools today. They help us identify the most relevant tools and approaches to offer in our courses, and are linked to each Festival in the program. Survey findings are presented at the corresponding Festival.
